The two week long cherry blossom festival has started here in DC.
To kick it off there was a kite festival on the mall...
It was a little chilly, but sunny and beautiful outside.
We walked around downtown quite a bit and
didn't look at the time. lovely.
I've never seen so many kites dot the sky
It almost makes up for the fact that my bears lost yesterday.
They did me proud.
