I've been listening to Good Intentions Paving Co. off of Joanna Newsom's new album pretty much on repeat the last several days. I said it feels like a depressed person having a really good day, but I think Rob really got it when he said it feels like a realist being optimistic.
I love that music can do that...make you feel something and maybe make someone else separately feel the exact same thing ...or something entirely different. and I think thats the point.
