and now i know
why i felt so out of sync yesterday
maybe it wasn't so much the heat
as it was this miserable flu my body was about to succumb to

the kind of sick where the bed isnt even comfortable
no matter how many pillows or blankets you
surround yourself with
hopefully this flu will be of the 24 hour variety
i mean it is the weekend and all
and who gets the flu in July?!
