to write.

"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." — Anaïs Nin

"I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions." — James A. Michener

"My task, which I am trying to achieve is, by the power of the written word, to make you hear, to make you feel--it is, before all, to make you see." — Joseph Conrad (Lord Jim)

"There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." — Ernest Hemingway

Sometimes I feel insatiably lost. But all I need to do to recover is stop my mind from describing how I feel and focus on what I see, hear and smell around me. And I'm no longer lost, but found in a whole other world altogether.
