if potter wore sunnies...

"The whole point of the week is the weekend."
— Angela Montenegro, Bones
Our weekend sort of started last evening with a walk to the park - it was such a beautiful cool summer night
alight with fireflies and the magical glow of old street lamps.
On the way back home we stopped by our little diner
and had chocolate milk shakes. So good.

Today is not only Friday, but its also pay day (the first post-promotion!)
and movie night with friends....
And there isnt much I like more than movie theater popcorn on a Friday night...

Happy Weekend!

Auerbach and the movie Breathless

The four hour drive to New York went flawlessly
and The Black Keys' new album
poured from the speakers all the way to the Holland Tunnel.
After we got our bearings we headed to Film Forum
and caught the 10 o'clock showing of
Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless
Oh how I love Jean Seberg's hair in the film...
but I think we both underestimated how tired
we were since we both fell asleep in parts of it.

Endless Summer

Thanks to Netflix - we watched this movie the other night and have never laughed so hard. Maybe this is because we are becoming delirious in the midst of the snowpocolypse. Or maybe its because of the so aptly named title that had us swooning before we even pushed play...but either way, I HIGHLY recommend you watch this movie.

It was made in 1966 and apparently they made a sequel in the early 90s, but I don't think it could possibly beat its predecessor.
