 My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are staying with us in our little abode 

and it is making it all the more livelier and cheerier. 

Little Lucy is especially thrilled with extra activity going on around her. 

There is much to be thankful for today - in my tiny world and the mammoth one surrounding me.

It all seems especially close here in the Nation's capital. 

There is much celebrating and a unique kind of anticipation in the air.

So glad to be able to spend the next week and a half with our families and friends dear.
