Dear Seattle, 

you have been lovely and rainy - just as expected - 

the gray kind of rain that makes you feel all the more cozy inside

 as surfaces shimmer in the overcast light. 

But I have spent almost every hour of every day hard at work and on my feet

so that I now look like this....

I am oh so very ready to be home to my family.
