“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth,
for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire:
it is the time for home.”
― Edith Sitwell
This is the longest I have ever gone without writing. November was full and quite dramatically so. There were many highs and a good number of lows. So my focus has been almost completely on those things [or people, rather] that mean the most. Giving thanks and relishing the time I've been able to spend with Rob and our baby girl.
We headed back to Virginia after leaving Boston with heavier hearts than we had hoped. We've since traveled across the country to spend some much needed time with family, celebrated Thanksgiving and more than a few birthdays. We also rang in Lyla Bird's six months of life this past month with some pureed pees and squash...because whats a half-birthday without some green mush?!
Here's a little video of her eating...she gave the same reaction with each bite which had us doubled over with laughter.

Good luck with moving and everything. I'm sure it's stressful but nice to spend time with Rob. That video is hilarious!!!
