"Happiness is as a butterfly which, when pursued,
is always beyond our grasp,
but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."
but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."
— Nathaniel Hawthorne
Its hot here in the District and the humid air truly feels like summer is here.
We went to Eastern Market on Saturday morning for bluebucks pancakes and crepes
and saw Top Chef being taped.
Went to the Memorial Day concert on the Hill
and in no particular order:
celebrated a friend's birthday with pizza and sweets
had several milk shakes
laid out by the pool
finished a book and started two more
picnic with family
gave Lucy girl a summer do
saw Midnight in Paris
and hardly ever stopped to look at a clock
I'm in survival mode this week
really focusing on every little blessing -
giving thanks in and for everything.

How was Midnight in Paris? It's on my list of things to do this week...i've heard it's beautifully shot.
p.s. thanks again for the lovely flowers!
It was good! We enjoyed it. Coincidentally really reminds me of A Paris Wife...plus its hard to go wrong with a movie set in Paris.
